Happy 3 years anniversary to US!!!!
hee.. a wonderful day spent out of the hectic life in the city? haha... met dar ard 1.30pm at hougang mall and we took the train to VIVO! (surprised mi with the pink pink bouquet of flower on the way... thanks dar...) noon VIVO was extremely quiet.. with not much people around... dar was soooo hungry, searching ard for his lunch.. hee.. and he saw this HK cafe, KIM GARY.. i was like.. " eh eh eh.. this is the one!!! recommended by Sie and Phy!!!" hee.. so happy and we went in... the french toast is really great which reminded mi of the one we had at hk... (thumbs up!!! look at the pics below.... ) and guess wat! when the bill came.we were so shocked .. it onli cost us $10.45!! tts soooooooo cheap for a hk cafe situated at VIVO? hmm...
Afterwhich... dar wanted to try the new express train to Sentosa from Vivo...$3 bucks for unlimited rides.. at least its an alternative way there..guess they are trying to bring up the Service at Sentosa.. more staff with smiles and more helpful in directions .. hee.. (good start!!) took the tram and tour round the area... weather was good.. no rain, no cloud, no sun.. windy!! lastly we took cable car back to harbourfront.. haha.. how wu liao can we b... hee.. its fun la..
Woohoo... its dinner time.. we searched online and found a restaurant at La Vela @ keppel club.. the food seems nice on its webby... no reservations made cos we cant seem to get thru the hotline.. alright and we took a cab in to keppel club... anticipated with thunder storm disappointment!!! In the lift... there is a poster which state tt La Vela Restaurant has CEASED OPERATION on 13th Jan 2007 !! arrgg.. i was sooooooooooooooooo angry!!! y isn't it stated on the web!!! arrgg arrgg... speachless..Msged Sandy to ask wher is Rochester Park situated and thanks to her, we din go there finally and went The Olive Restaurant @ Labrador Park . nice place.. nice ambience.. nice food ...i love it!!! [look at the pics below.. the appetitizer, the main course.. the dessert.. the drink... woolalalala]
